Postpartum Doula Services

The role of a postpartum doula is different from the role of a birth doula.
As a postpartum doula I offer support in your home, after the birth of your baby, through the following ways:
  • Emotional support and guidance for new parents
  • Basic meal preparation
  • Assistance with siblings
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Newborn care and education
  • Infant soothing and scheduling techniques
  • Light housework (tidying, organizing, dishwashing)
  • Referrals for other professionals or local support systems
  • Babywearing education and support (carriers available to try out and use during our time together)
  • Cloth Diapering Consultation - hands on information including how to care for and choose the diapers right for your family
